The muscled shoulders and sculpted sides are flowing and clearly define the all-new Renault Captur’s vibrant, athletic look, and when sitting on the set of 18-inch alloys the new Captur’s classy looks won’t be missed. The Captur does have a striking appearance, emphasized with its eye-catching C-shaped LED running lights and LED headlights as standard. So, get yourself into a 2021 Renault Captur, and heads will be turning in your direction wherever you go. The Captur also delivers on engine diversity, though Australia may just settle for the most powerful of the petrol variants, where efficiency is at the forefront. For a small SUV, the boot space is excellent. The small SUV offers excellent space and practicality for the buyer needing reasonable interior space along with a large boot. New headlights and more muscular bonnet lines look great. Renault’s new Captur has undergone some major face reconstruction and the result is quite attractive. There’s no need to change, because the simple switches for volume and track/radio station skipping are as intuitive as ever.Going through a facelift doesn’t sound at all appealing to me, even though many celebrities seem to have taken the plunge. The graphics are sharp enough and the screen responsive, but the set-up is not as intuitive as systems in VW Group rivals.Į-Tech hybrid launch editions get a 10.0-inch driver information panel, a different console with e-shifter and exclusive grey interior with blue stitching. Line models have the best infotainment set-up available in the Captur, adding a larger 9.3-inch portrait-style touchscreen with big tiles for main functions like mapping and media, and small shortcut icons along the lower edge. There’s also a 4.2-inch TFT driver information display and the usual USB ports.

Standard on-board tech in the Captur includes a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, Bluetooth, a DAB radio and a wireless smartphone charging function. The new Captur is available with three core equipment levels, with various limited editions coming and going from the range. Renault has included generous levels of standard kit: all cars come with alloy wheels, LED headlights, auto folding electrically adjustable mirrors, rear privacy glass, automatic air conditioning and a host of active safety systems such as Lane Keep Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition.
